Underneath the Stars...

So I had an awesome night! It was "Senior Send Off", a night of music and good food in honor of the seniors here. Anyways, it was the PERFECT weather, 75 degrees (mind you it was from 9-11pm), a slight breeze, some of the trees were laced with tiny white lights, and my roommate even saw a shooting star, sadly i missed it! dang! lol and the best folksy music from our very own wonderfully talented students :) It was like our own little version of a coachella festival! I was barefoot in the grass, and so stress free because today was my LAST day of classes!!! All I have left are my finals and then I'm done with my freshman year... its crazy! If every year goes by as fast as this year... well goodness! I didn't t get to take pictures tonight... but if I would have, they would've been similar to these, except that it was darker outside lol:

This Keira Knightley shoot from an old issue of Vogue is my all time fav! I had the issue, but sadly I lost it! Ugh lol! It reminds me of South Africa so much, I miss it, and would love to go back there soon :) So much to see, so much to do, the possibilites were endless.

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

Okay so I'm pretty sure that I used to watch this movie everyday one summer with my best friend. She was Ella and I was Lola, Lola Step lol. Gosh I thought this was the best movie. Lola made me want a lifesize poster of my favorite band on my wall (first pic) and I still do lol, but have yet to find a poster that size haha. Lola embodied the best taste in style and her personality was dope! I mean now that I watch it it's still pretty lame, but I just love all of the little quirks too much to let it go for good!

Tim Burton is a Genius!

Ugh! I love Tim Burton's original art work SOOO much! For the longest time I never even knew he was sketched all of the original concepts for his movies! He's so imaginative, and every single movie that he's done I can't help but love! My fav is Edward Scissorhands, what's yurs?

Smiley Miley

Ok, so don't freak out, I don't really care for Miley, never have since one of my friends that acted in her movie said she was a brat (who would've guessed!?), but I've gotta say I luv her style. It's eclectic, edgy, and a lil hippie all at the same time. I luv her bag from Simone Camille, O and I'm actually kind of anxious to see what she can do in The Last Song, I'm almost done with the book and I think the movie will be pretty good. Have any of you seen it yet and is it any good?

Just Another Lazy Sunday

Today is just THE perfect Sunday :) I've been lying around my dorm room, reading Nicholas Sparks' the Last Song, watching Audrey in Funny Face, studying for an Art History Exam, listening to Anita O'Day, Ella, and Billie, flippin through April's Vogue, sippin coffee, and enjoying a warm breeze flowing from my window! Of course not all at the same time lol. But you get my drift, it's been a great relaxing day so far, and its only 1:00. It's been a great start to a week that I know is gonna be a little hectic, but I'm ready for it, bring it! There's only 3 more weeks left til my freshman year in college is over... CRAZY! It went by SO fast... I never would've guessed that it would happen so fast. I thank God for staying with me every step of the way!!
